Champagne Taittinger Prélude Grands Crus

The Prélude Grands Crus Cuvée is composed of Chardonnay (50%) and Pinot Noir (50%) that Taittinger has exclusively selected from the best Grands Crus vineyards classified as “100%” in the Champagne system. This rare blend is produced only from wines of the first pressing and offers the finesse and structure that a great wine needs if it is to be kept for a long time. On the palate, this wine finds the perfect balance between the mineral Chardonnay and the strongly expressive Pinot Noir. The champagne has been matured in the cellar for more than five years, which makes the Prélude cuvée unique because of its great richness of flavors.

The sommelier's tip

The sommeliers' pairing tip is a lovely piece of white fish, shellfish like a beautiful scallop, and caviar is always a perfect match. Make sure to focus on brininess. Another important component for the perfect pairing is creaminess. If you're celebrating life, open this bottle, as it's also perfect as an aperitif.

Tenuta di Nozzole, La Forra Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG '20

La Forra Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG is a wine in which the viticultural and oenological sciences are perfectly applied; an example of how tradition, understood as the historical path of wine, has been taken over by innovation. For this reason, for 40 years La Forra has represented the perfect expression of the historic territory of Greve, the capital of

The sommelier's tip

The sommeliers' pairing tip is to focus on depth, complexity, and pronounced flavours with a wine like this. Game is a perfect choice, but red meat is also an excellent option. Additionally, I would look for secondary elements like nuts, mushrooms, and a rich, deeply reduced sauce.
