Irancy Les Bâtardes ’23 comes from a cool, northwest-facing vineyard in northern Burgundy. This Pinot Noir reveals vibrant red fruit and striking notes of Madagascar pepper—an expression of the site’s distinctive minerality. The result is a wine with a sculpted, focused character that reflects the precision and elegance of its unique terroir.

The wine is a wonderful match for classic French cuisine. Try it with game meat like deer birds such as quail or partridge. It also pairs beautifully with a terrine or a traditional Coq au Vin prepared with red wine.
Maison de la Chapelle is dedicated to showcasing the unique terroirs of Irancy and the Yonne. This northern Burgundian appellation spans 300 hectares near Chablis, with south-facing slopes that benefit from a sheltered, sunny microclimate. Interwoven with cherry orchards, Irancy’s rolling vineyards offer an ideal environment for cultivating pure, elegant expressions of Pinot Noir.
Chablis Premier Cru Troesmes ’22 shows remarkable freshness, thanks to its early harvest from a south-facing 1.35-hectare plot within the Beauroy Premier Cru. The wine offers precise citrus notes, delicate white flowers, and a salty minerality that reflects its Kimmeridgian soils. It’s vibrant and elegant, with a clean, lingering finish that captures the essence of pure Chardonnay.

Domaine d’Henri, led by Margaux Laroche, represents generations of winemaking heritage rooted in Chablis since 1695. While Michel Laroche sold his estates, he retained the family’s historic vineyards, laying the foundation for Domaine d’Henri in 2010, named after his grandfather. The estate produces pure, expressive wines with a deep respect for nature, practicing organic viticulture across its plots. The vineyards lie on Kimmeridgian clay- limestone soils—remnants of an ancient seabed—which, combined with Chablis’ cool climate, create a distinctively mineral Chardonnay. Their wines are known for precision and purity, especially the Héritage cuvée, sourced from 80-year-old vines in the Premier Cru Fourchaume.
