The Champagne house Taittinger, founded in 1734, was taken over by Pierre Taittinger in 1932 and has borne his internationally renowned name ever since. Champagne Taittinger is one of the “Grandes Marques” of the Champagne region and is sold in over 150 countries. The family owns one of the largest number of hectares of its own vineyards in Champagne, namely 288. By concentrating on the Chardonnay grape, Taittinger has gained international recognition for its consistent quality, finesse and elegance.
